We host regular events here at South Bank Studios and hope you can join us.
Including regular art classes, creative workshops, and our (free) monthly drawing and craft groups.
Many of our resident artists also take part in York Open Studios each April, as well as our annual Winter Fair in November. We often take part in other local events which have included Heritage Open Days, York Unlocked, North Yorkshire Open Studios and York Residents Festival.

'Mandi Grant' - Exhibition
Work by resident painter Mandi Grant will be on show in the foyer of Southlands Methodist Church from 1st April until 20th June 2021.
'Di Gomery' exhibition
New work by resident artist Di Gomery will be on show in the foyer of Southlands Methodist Church from November through to the end of March 2021.

York Open Studios 2020 - POSTPONED UNTIL 2021
A number of our resident artists have been selected to exhibit as part of York Open Studios in 2020 and Southlands Methodist Church will be Venue 34.

South Bank Studios taster exhibition showcasing the work of our 2020 selected artists: Nicola Lee, Rebecca Mason, Donna Maria Taylor , Caroline Utterson and Carolyn Coles together with that of Colin Black from Sekk art school will now run until the end of June in the foyer area of Southlands Methodist Church.

Resident artist Carolyn Coles is currently showing some of her work in the foyer area of Southlands Methodist Church.
Carolyn is one of the artists also taking part in York Open Studios this year.
