Jilly Lovett trained in Fine Art at Edinburgh University. For most of her working life she’s worked in editorial and publications with spells as a botanical artist (at Kew Gardens) and freelance illustrator with exhibitions in the UK and abroad.

Having worked in a variety of media from textiles to traditional drawing and painting, she now focuses principally on still life and flowers, taking inspiration from the natural and domestic world with a strong emphasis on line and colour.

Working alongside other talented artists in the Studios and taking courses and guidance online and in person, Jilly wants to work towards a style which reflects her own artistic voice. A never ending journey
